Gosh...after just a regular workout, maybe a bowl of Wheat Chex, and an orange.  Peanut butter on something whole grain is yummy, too.  After a long run (ten miles or more) I adore Mexican food and burgers.  After a meal like that, it's easy to fit in an afternoon nap!

I guess my choice is a little tame - I usually go with some chocolate milk
(or a protein shake if I'm at the gym.) 

Once I've cooled down, then I'll hunt down (or cook up) a combination of
carbs and protein.

Good point about the smoothies. Once it warms up (summer's gotta get here
soon!) I like making my own smoothies with whatever I have available (milk,
chocolate, peanut butter, and fresh fruit.)
